It all began in 2010, when five friends,
united by their love and respect for the Amazon, decided to protect 45 hectares of forest next to the Taricaya Ecological Reserve (within the buffer zone of the Tambopata National Reserve. a key biodiversity hotspot on our planet ). Amazon Planet works in direct partnership with the Taricaya Ecological Reserve, a conservation area dedicated to protecting biodiversity in Madre de Dios.
