How to Get to Amazon Planet
1. Arriving in Puerto Maldonado
Puerto Maldonado (PEM) is easily accessible from Peru’s main cities:
- From Lima: Direct daily flights (~1h 45m) with LATAM or SKY.
- From Cusco: Short direct flights (~45m) or safe overnight buses (~9h).
- From Puno: Daily comfortable overnight buses (~9h).
- From Arequipa: Flights available via Cusco or Lima.
2. Transfer to the Lodge
Your Amazon adventure begins the moment you arrive. We take care of the rest:
- Reception: Complimentary pick-up from the airport or bus terminal upon arrival.
- Scenic Boat Ride: Enjoy a 1 to 1.5 hour safe boat trip down the Bajo Madre de Dios River.
- Full Service: Round-trip transfers are included in your stay to ensure a worry-free journey. Only one scheduled river transfer in and out for all guests.
⚠️ Important: Plan Your Arrival and Departure around Schedule.
To ensure no extra fees for river transfers, please arrive into PEM before 13:00h and depart after 12:00h.
