Live an authentic cultural immersion into the life and rich ancestral heritage of the Palma Real Community, part of the Ese-Eja ethnic tribe—the indigenous people of the Lower Madre de Dios River in Peru and the Beni River in Bolivia.
In 2018, their stunning Basketry was declared a National Cultural Heritage of Peru. This art form reflects the tribe’s profound bond with their ancestral territory and their sustainable use of plant species. This practice is deeply rooted in the female community, shaping both social and gender identity.
Through guided visits and craft workshops, we learn about and appreciate the Ese-Eja culture, contributing directly to the revaluation and preservation of this vital Amazonian indigenous group.
